Thrisha Haldar

Thrisha joined Indigo as Lead Executive in 2022. She is also lead executive at the Alan and Babette Sainsbury Family Charitable Fund.

Prior to this she led programmes at BBC Media Action, Arts Council England, the Royal Society of Public Health and with South Asian, African and refugee led organisations, across the UK and internationally. She is also a trustee for Labour Behind the Label, which campaigns in solidarity with garment workers globally to improve working conditions.  She is also a founding Director of Scrutiny, which supports journalists and citizen investigators to hold to account parts of the state and public-facing organisations that operate behind closed doors. Thrisha also serves on the board of 360 Giving, which publishes grants data enabling more transparency and collaboration amongst grantmakers and grantees.

In all her work, Thrisha advocates for ordinary people’s voices to shape the decisions that are made about them.
