Given the ubiquity of mobile technology across emerging markets, many start-ups are understandably keen to discover how best they can work with mobile operators. Conversely, many operators want to partner with innovative start-ups to stay relevant and add value, but may not know where to begin. New research from GSMA unpicks some of these issues to offer a guide to start-ups interested in collaborating with mobile operators in emerging markets.
In addition, through their Ecosystem Accelerator Innovation Fund GSMA are offering start-ups from across Africa and Asia with a chance to access grant funding, technical assistance, and the opportunity to partner with mobile operators in their markets to help scale their products and services into sustainable businesses with positive socio-economic impact. The next round of applications runs from 1 June 2017 until 16 July 2017 and if you think your start-up has what it takes, why not put in an application?
