Online Attitudes and Behaviours in MENA

A mixed government, academic and private sector research team have released a report into the attitudes and behaviours of internet users in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The report reveals differences between users in MENA and globally concerning data privacy, government regulation of the internet and differing levels of trust in some of the internet’s most popular tools and sites, including social media and online banking. The following slides highlight the key findings, while the full report is available here.
