Indigo Trust have recently awarded a grant of up to a maximum of £8,000 to Practical Participation in order to conduct a series of research sprints focused on open data and philanthropy in the UK.
A recent Joined Up Philanthropy demand side workshop, run by Practical Participation, explored how different organisations might want to make use of information about philanthropic giving.
The aim of the workshop was to generate ideas for new tools and services, and actions, that could use open philanthropy data to make a real difference. This research will inform the creation of a data standard for sharing information from trusts and foundations. For more information, see this blog post.
