Indigo’s Founder and Director, Fran Perrin, was recently announced as the new Chair of the Publish What You Fund Board. The organisation, which was created in 2008 and campaigns for greater aid transparency, has been instrumental in pushing governments, intergovernmental agencies and others to be more open about their aid spending. Since its foundation five years ago, PWYF has played a key role in the development and adoption of the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) and monitoring donors’ transparency through its annual Aid Transparency Index. As one of the first foundations in the world to start publishing our data in compliance with IATI, Fran is delighted to have been asked to join the Board:
Publish What You Fund is a fantastic organisation that has achieved so much in just a few short years. I’m delighted to follow Sarah Mulley as Chair of the Board. I look forward to working with David Hall-Matthews, the staff and board to further increase the organisation’s impact in the field.
