Indigo's Executive Heading to Southern Africa Until New Year

I just wanted to leave a note to all our followers to tell you that I’m going to be heading to Southern Africa for work (followed by holiday) from tomorrow until 2nd January.  Please be patient during this time, as I will have limited time to respond to emails.  The Indigo team will still be fully operational and main enquiries should go to Matt on matthew.oreilly@sfct.org.uk.

For those of you who are interested, I’ll be presenting at Africa.Com in Cape Town where I will be sitting on a panel exploring the Do’s and Don’ts of launching start-ups in Africa and presenting on The Role of Foundations in Supporting Technology Innovation Hubs and on Rural Interventions using Mobile Technology.

In Johannesburg I’ll be speaking about how mobile applications are contributing to improving African Society, exploring applications in the Transparency, Health and Agriculture space at Mobile Web Africa.

I’m also excited to be visiting some of our grantees including Cell Life’s Lungisa project, Fundza and RLabs and hope to identify other exciting tech for social change projects for us to support.

In the meantime, I wish you all a very early Merry Christmas/Festive Season and a Happy 2013.
