We were delighted that Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia and the Wikimedia Foundation, was able to join us at our Power of Information conference last week. For those at the conference it was a unique opportunity to hear directly from one of the internet’s most influential people and a chance to gain an insight into the inner workings of one of the busiest sites around. Covering everything from censorship of Wikipedia in China to extending the reach of the site in the Wolof language of West Africa, Jimmy’s conversation with Will Perrin was an occasion to remember. Once again, we’d like to send a massive thanks to Jimmy and his team for helping provide the perfect end to a great and stimulating day. For those of you who were unable to attend the conference, the full interview is now available to view below. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
